OUR FACILITY

After being at Unit G for 10 years, Somersault moved to its new home with twice the space at over 12,500 square feet. The gym is set over three floors and has a large seating area, where parents can watch their children enjoying their classes whilst enjoying a cup of tea or coffee from our café. our gym is well equipped with a very large foam pit for safe landings from our trampoline, vault, bars, rings and tumble track. The gym has a full sprung floor area, additional bars, beams and vault.

Somersault has a large car park directly outside the facility and an overflow car park opposite, so parking is never a problem!

Sally Clutterbuck founded Somersault in 2005. Somersault is one of the largest gymnastics club in Wales with members from walking age to adults. At a pre-school and recreational level, Somersault is second to none and at an elite level we excel. Somersault has produced a multitude of Welsh and British Squad members across both men’s and women's gymnastics.

In April 2014 Somersault Gymnastics Club CIC was incorporated and operates as a not for profit organisation with the objective of providing facilities and tuition to allow gymnastics to develop in the local community. A year later in April 2015 Somersault moved in to a new, larger premises at Unit B St Catherines Park, Cardiff. We are lucky enough to be in a facility that is over 12,500 square feet.

Our club members and coaches are affiliated to Welsh Gymnastics, Wales' governing body.
